| elaboration | Average production per vine: 2,340 Kg Selection of vines, older than 10 years, from the township of Batea, in the Estates of Trufes and Massalocans. Varieties: 40 % Garnatxa "borruda", 20 % Syrah, 40 % of Samsó. Soil : Chalky and lime soils, with a low permeability. They are poor in organic materials too. Vinification: Manual vintage in 20 Kg boxes. A maceration has been done during 16 days. Fermentation takes places under temperature control between 22º C and 28°C. |

| tasting note | It does show a dense violet colour, being shinning as well as fluid in the glass. It contents fine aroma to raspberries, blackberries and other wood fruits, with tinges to spices and mainly licorice. In the mouth it is kind and meaty, slightly tannic. At the retronasal taste, the aromas of red fruits jams make a real explosion. |
