Vineyards: Els voltons ( La Vilella Alta), Les Planes( Torroja del Priorat), La Solana ( El Molar), La Planeta ( La Morera de Montsant).
Varieties: 65% Garnacha negre, 15% Samsó, 20% Syrah
Soil: Slate soil and clay with silex soil.
Vinification: Manual harvest in cases of 20kg. Cold maceration of 48 hours and traditional maceration during 20 days, fermenting between 24ºC and 30ºC. Part of the wine is making the malolactic fermentation in barriques and aging 3 months in them. The final blend ages in stainless steel tank on lies during 8 months.
Alc. Cont. : 14,70%. Volatile acidity: 0,42gr./l.
Total acidity: (expressed in tartaric acid) 5,6gr./l.
Total SO2: 59mg/l.
Consumption: This wine can be kept during four years after vintage date.
Tasting notes: Deep cherry colour, rapsberry and red fruits aromas, with some spicy notes from the oak, large and powerfull in the mouth with good tannins.
