Reserva Ferret Brut Nature

Origin: Made from the three indigenous grape varieties used in the traditional Cava blend: Parellada, Xarel.lo and Macabeo. Parellada, recognised as the finer of the three is grown on the upper slopes whereas Xarel.lo and Macabeo are usually found on the lower levels. All are hand picked.

Process: After blending, selected yeasts are added and the wine is bottled and sent 15m below ground to our cellers. Here it is aged for an minimum of 24 months, during which time the second fermentation takes place. Finally when the cava is ready the lees are removed through the process of "degüelle".
This Dry Nature Gran Reserve does not contain any sweetening liqueur. Its unique bouquet is achieved purely through the blend and the ageing period in bottles

Appearance: Straw yellow, with persistent soft bubbles.

Nose: A Quite intense nose of ripe fruit and nuts, as a result of the ageing on the lees.

Palate: Dry with good integration of bubbles. The fruit comes through on the palate as on the nose, with an underlying crisp acidity and a toastiness to its long finish.
