Ezequiel Nº 1
Alcohol: 12’5º
Serving temperature: 16º-18º
Appearance: Attractive intense dark red with cherry tones on the border. Well covered, it produces a shower of slowly falling legs that indicate the level of alcohol and particularly the glycerol which gives it an unctuous quality.
Aromas: Extremely complex, with an abundance of scents. The wood is well integrated yet allows expression of all the fruit. Appreciate the tremendous symphony of aromas with measured presence of wild berries, vanilla, coffee, strawberries, cloves and cheeries to start with.
Taste: Wonderfully smooth attack with good tannins exquisitely managed by its deep unctuosity. Meaty and enveloping. Mature red fruit and hints of tabacco leaf repeat in the retronasal.
Of excellent structure, it offers a very long delicious finish.
This is a complex and elegant wine full of aromas and flavours. A great degree of care has gone into unitiing the various protagonists, vineyards, grape size, toasted wood and the final blend of wines that contribute to the richness of its bouquet. You have before you a wine of real personality, fruit of fastidious work and care.
This wine will evolve favourably in the bottle for the next 5 years
Particularly recommended with game such as venison and wild boar but also those dishes that call for a wine with a wealth of layers and intensity.
